Anytime a user updates an issue in the centerfold there are three options; Post Comment, Send Back to User XYZ, Re-Assign Issue, or Mark As Resolved. Each piece of functionality allows users to update an issue in some fashion, notifying the appropriate party of the change, and filing the issue in the right place. These options help organizations to resolve issues faster and get more done.

When creating an issue, if a user is "Assigned" to an issue it will always appear in the left hand panel underneath the related project. However, if a user is "Following" the issue, they can archive the issue as well. This functionality hides the issue until the issue is updated by whomever it is Assigned to. So User X is Assigned Issue #5 and User Y is Following Issue #5. User X sees the issue on the left hand side of their screen at all times, until it is resolved. User Y ONLY sees Issue #5 when User X makes an update to it. In most instances, User Y is a manager of some kind overseeing User X and their work on a particular Issue.

From any device or email interface you can communicate with MyCourt. Create Issues or update them while on the road or just simply from your email client. MyCourt uses a standard notation for assigning and creating tasks. For example, the screen shots show Carol creating an entire project plan with tasks assigned to specific people.

When viewing the centerfold for a specific issue, there are four tabs for organizing all of the information contained here. The Comments tab is all comments and all files made regarding a specific issue. The Milestones tab can be used for adding deadlines and timelines for specific issues. The Tasks tab can be used for adding and assigning additional subtasks to the issue. Lastly, the Team Members tab is used for adding or subtracting specific people from the issue. Here you can also add or subtract users following the issue as well.
